Once a footnote is added, if you prefer not to display its associated horizontal line, you can remove it by following these steps.

Step 1: Open the menu bar, click "View," and select "Outline" from the dropdown menu.

步骤二：接着，点击“引用”，然后选择“显示备注”。

Step 2: Next, click on "References" and select "Show Notes."
