6. Pudacuo Scenic Area

Pudacuo Scenic Area, nestled within Shangri-La, is the most beautiful region within the area and the largest national park in the country. Boasting an elevation range of over 900 meters, the scenic area is home to diverse wildlife, including squirrels and occasionally yaks. Due to the high altitude, exceeding 3,000 meters above sea level, visitors should pace themselves to avoid altitude sickness. Spring and autumn are the most favorable seasons to visit Pudacuo, offering stunning views of blooming wildflowers and colorful forests.

7. Hani Terraces

Yuan Yang Terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, were built over 1,300 years ago by the Hani people. The terraces are divided into three main scenic areas – Bada, Laohuzui, and Duoyishu. The best time to visit is between December and April, particularly around the Spring Festival, when the terraces are adorned with vibrant flowers and stunning views. From an elevated vantage point, visitors can capture breathtaking panoramic shots of the terraced landscapes, creating a picturesque tapestry.

8. Heshun Ancient Town - Volcano Hot Sea Tourist Zone
